We have been making this blend for the last 10-12 years. We use it for garlic bread, stir frying, wood-fired vegetables, many other things.
Simple ingredients: chopped garlic, cracked black pepper, rosemary, thyme, chopped parm, red pepper flakes, and a touch of truffle oil if you have it. Then top it off with extra virgin olive oil. If you have a rind from a piece of parm, toss it in, too.
The black pepper, red pepper flakes, thyme, and rosemary are broken down with a mortar & pestle.
After initial mixing, I leave it out overnight, stirring a few times. We store it in the fridge and just spoon out what we need.
